Beyond network graphs

See the connection, the machine, and what changed.

Move from an overview to the events behind it, with dedicated areas for network activity, alerts, system context, and reports.

01

Live operating dashboard

Track CPU, memory, bandwidth, network I/O, latency, packet loss, session duration, and packet totals as they change.

02

Packet event investigation

Filter a virtualized event grid by IP, port, or protocol and inspect timestamps, endpoints, ports, protocols, size, and status.

03

Threshold-based alerts

Warning and critical conditions highlight latency and packet-loss problems, with throttling to prevent notification spam.

04

System diagnostics

Review uptime, top memory processes, and available hardware readings. Some temperature values are estimates; diagnostic indicators are not a substitute for hardware testing.

05

Stability and fault context

Review recent Windows error and critical events alongside resource activity to investigate changes in system behavior.

06

Local reports and exports

Keep event and alert history on your computer. Review session summaries and protocol activity, then export event or alert logs as CSV.

Before you get started

Built for your Windows workspace.

NetMonitor is in active development. Live packet capture requires a compatible driver; simulation mode provides sample traffic rather than measurements from your network.

  • Windows and .NET
Native WPF application targeting .NET 8 on Windows with a resizable multi-panel interface.
  • Npcap for live capture
Packet capture depends on the Npcap driver. Without it, the current build can use simulation mode.
  • Administrator access
Live capture on promiscuous-mode interfaces may require running the application as Administrator. Without Npcap, simulation mode remains available.
